We believe…
- That the one God is transcendent (totally ‘other than’ the creation) and immanent (present or ‘with us’ throughout the creation); He is Creator of all things throughout the universe, visible and invisible, material, non-material and spiritual. The three Persons of the Godhead are co-equal, identical in nature and co-eternal;
- That Jesus of Nazareth is both fully God and fully Man; that He lived a totally sinless life and was therefore qualified to be offered as the sacrificial Lamb of God on our behalf;
- In the finished work of Christ consisting of His physical death on the cross and His bodily resurrection, resulting in salvation for all those who believe and commit themselves to Him. There is no other means of salvation given to mankind by God;
- That Christ accomplished the work on earth for which He was sent by the Father, seated at the right hand of the Father, He is in the place of highest honour;
- That the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the believer is through His Personal indwelling and leading;
- That the Church of God consists of every person of whatever age, sex, race, nationality, denomination, or non-denomination who has genuinely committed his/her life to Christ, accepting the triune God, and desires to follow Him. All believers are equal in the sight of God.
