Where did it go?

In September 2014 my daughter, who was in her late 40’s, developed severe pancreatitis.  This was extremely painful and she was in the intensive care unit at Southmead Hospital for 10 days.

During that time things regressed and doctors were unsure how to progress, whilst trying to determine the cause.  Her stomach started to swell and as the doctor said – was the size of a football.   The only way to drain this fluid was by a specialist team in Bristol Royal Infirmary.

My daughter was taken to the B.R.I. on the Friday to be operated on by this specialist team.  When she was taken in for the op, to the amazement of all, the fluid had all disappeared without any indication of where it had gone.   This still remains a mystery to them, but not to me!
